RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation of the General Services Director and Transit Director that City Council authorize a purchase order with Ken Grody Ford of Buena Park, CA, in the amount of $81,683.70, plus a 5% contingency in the amount of $4,084.19, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $85,767.89, for one (1) 2026 Ford F350 Service Truck.

DISCUSSION
This is a request to purchase one (1) Ford F350 Service Truck for the Transit Department. The Transit Department operates a small fleet of non-revenue vehicles that support bus operations.
The requested vehicle will replace aging vehicle #8584 which is used for shelters and bus stop maintenance. Over the last twelve months General Services has spent $248,842.49 with Ken Grody Ford. Therefore, this purchase will exceed City Manager’s approval authority. 1 City Council

Staff requested quotes from three (3) vendors. Ken Grody Ford was the lowest responsible bidder.
