• May 6, 2026: Planning Commission Public Hearing held for the original project; the Commission voted (4-0) to approve the project.
• May 18, 2026: The property owner of 170 Via Monte D’Oro filed an appeal.
APPEAL OVERVIEW

• Appeal Basis: Appellant alleges the decision is not supported by the findings or evidence and asserts serious privacy impacts.
• Privacy Concerns: Appellant identified privacy impacts from the north-facing, second-story additions, including a new balcony and bedroom addition. • Staff Analysis: Two site visits and review from the Appellant’s residence found no significant privacy impacts, based on existing conditions and distance, consistent with the Planning Commission Staff Report.
