I am writing to correct my earlier written comment on Item 9A. I said the Home Improvement Program "serves only singlefamily homes." The program's web page specifies ”Applicant must be a senior age 50 or older and/or disabled owner/occupant of a singlefamily residence...” but the City's 2025 HIP application includes "Mobile Home" and "Condo/CoOp," and HIP's 2023 monthly reports to the Parks and Recreation Commission show mobilehome households served.
My request on eligibility should instead read: update the program's web page and flyer to say that mobilehome and condominium owners may apply, note any limits on the work HIP can do in those homes, and include them in any senior ownerrehab option in the FY 202728 Action Plan. My request for providing this content in multiple languages (flyer, application form, et.c) still stands.
