DISCUSSION
The purpose of this Supplemental Material is to provide a change to the security obligations of the City under the Letter of Agreement.
Should City Council concur with the recommendation of the City Manager and Community Development Director, Section 3 (g) of the Letter of Agreement will be amended from “City shall provide two (2) security guards during the hours of 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday-Friday” to “City shall provide two (2) security guards during the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday.” This change is to align with the existing security shifts at the site and has been approved by the Los Angeles County Department of Homeless Services and Housing (HSH). The change is considered a non-substantial modification per Recommendation #3 of the Item.
