TRACY CITY COUNCIL - SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
March 5, 2024, 5:30 p.m.
Tracy City Hall, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, CA.
1. Mayor Young called the meeting to order at 5:34 p.m.
2. There were no actions taken pursuant to AB 2449.
3. Roll Call found Council Members Arriola, Evans, Mayor Pro Tem Davis and Mayor Young present. There was no declaration of conflicts by City Council. Council Member Bedolla absent from roll call.
Council Member Bedolla arrived at 5:37 p.m. and declared no conflicts.
4. Items from the audience – None.
5. DISCUSSION ITEMS:
5.A. The Tracy Finance Committee recommends that the City Council receive a report on the Five-year forecast for the City’s General Fund and provide direction regarding the City’s preliminary Fiscal Year 2024-25 Operating and Capital Budget.
Sara Cowell, Finance Director provided the staff report and presentation and responded to questions.
Karin Schnaider, Assistant City Manager responded to questions.
Council questions and comments followed.
Maria Valenzuela from Tracy Chamber of Commerce asked Council to not forget about ongoing conversations with the Chamber and community businesses that have been impacted by the Measure.
ACTION: Motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Davis and seconded by Council Member Evans to receive the Five-year forecast for the City’s General Fund and provide direction regarding the City’s preliminary FY 2024-25 Operating and Capital Budget. Roll call found all in favor; passed and so ordered.
