TRACY CITY COUNCIL - SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
June 18, 2024, 6:30 p.m.
Tracy City Hall, 333 Civic Center Plaza, Tracy, CA.
1. Mayor Young called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m.
2. There were no actions taken pursuant to AB 2449.
3. Roll call found Council Members Arriola, Evans, Mayor Pro Tem Davis and Mayor Young present. Council had no declarations of conflicts. Council Member Bedolla was absent from roll call.
Council Member Bedolla joined the meeting remotely at 6:46 p.m.

5. DISCUSSION ITEMS
5.A. By motion, (1) Establish interview protocols to fill one vacancy for the City of Tracy Representative on the San Joaquin County Mosquito Abatement District; (2) Conduct interview of one applicant for one vacancy; and (3) Upon conclusion of the interviews, appoint an applicant to fill one vacancy and establish an eligibility list, if appropriate.
Necy Lopez, Deputy City Clerk, provided the staff report.
There was no public comment.
City Council discussed and approved questions presented by Mayor Young.
Council Member Evans suggested that based on the application he was satisfied with foregoing the questions.
Council Member Arriola suggested to read out the relevant questions and allow the applicant to make a statement for all the questions.
Council read out the interview questions and applicant, Renu Miles made a statement.
ACTION: Motion was made by Mayor Young and seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Davis to appoint Renu Miles on the San Joaquin County Mosquito and Vector Control District Board, no eligibility list was established. Roll call found all in favor; passed and so ordered.

ACTION: Motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Davis and seconded by Council Member Arriola to adjourn. Roll call found Council Members Arriola, Evans, Mayor Pro Tem Davis, Mayor Young in favor; passed and so ordered. Council Member Bedolla was absent from roll call.
