In response to Council Questions:
• The Rotary Club purposefully avoided symbolism.
• Concerns regarding the sites on Highway 89.

• Council Member Zabriskie disclosed his stepson, Mike Brown, is an attorney at Stoel Rives LLP and they are representing an applicant proposing a gas station. There is no financial interest and no conflict.
• In the report:
o Modify the first paragraph last sentence to reflect the “increase”. o The data on the gas stations in the region should be corrected. • Fuel consumption has increased over the past twenty years. o How will the moratorium reduce gasoline consumption?
• Abandoned tanks are a historic issue, not an issue related to new gas stations. • Council Member Klovstad submitted email in support of the moratorium. • The moratorium is valuable to take the conversation to the General Plan update discussion.
