Dear Truckee Town Council,
7.3 I am a voter and homeowner in Truckee and I am writing today in support of a new library in Truckee, and of a bond measure to help finance a new library. My family (we have two children in TTUSD schools) are all supporters and plan to volunteer in the campaign to pass a bond measure. We are excited about the benefits a new library would offer to our community, especially as a gathering place for teens to study and collaborate, as a place for clubs and organizations to meet, and as an emergency resource center with built-in backup power and air conditioning.
Please approve the library to move forward with a bond measure.
