7.3 Public Comment (')
Dear Council Members, I am writing regarding item 7.3, the Truckee Library Revenue Measure on Tuesday March 25 agenda. I am in complete support of a new Truckee Library and plan to volunteer to help with its passage.
In addition to the information and support mentioned in the agenda packet. I believe the library can become the center for
community service. It will be a location
that will allow community discussions, provide meeting rooms for all types of groups especially book clubs and a library is also a location for the students to meet safely. For me, growing up the library was not only a place to study but for me it was also a safe place to meet friends in a safe environment.
