7.3 I am writing to encourage the Town Council to approve moving forward with the library bond measure for November 2025. The Town of Truckee both needs and deserves a modern facility that reflects the town's vibrant and buoyant outook, and engaged and diverse citizenry. A revitalized, well designed space not only complements other areas of the town's growth, but will offer children, students, and adults of all ages the resources they need and desire. In addition, a new library will provide an emergency center with full-time back up power and modern communications capabilities. This space will also be ADA compliant. Given Truckee's location, a safety net for the community when natural disasters occur is essential.
Please vote to approve the November bond measure for the Library! Kate Korsh
