Dear Town Council Members,
7.3 I am writing to express the vital role our public library plays in our community. More than just a place to borrow books, it serves as an essential hub for learning, literacy, and connection. It provides free access to knowledge, technology, and educational programs for people of all ages, fostering personal and professional growth.
For students, it is a quiet space to study and access resources they may not have at home. For job seekers, it offers tools and guidance to improve their prospects. For seniors, it provides programs that keep them engaged and connected. In a time when digital access is crucial, our library ensures that no one is left behind.
On a personal note, the library and its wonderful staff have been an invaluable resource to our family. Our children have become avid readers with the help of the library, and we are grateful for the programs and support it provides.
A well -supported public library strengthens the heart of our town. I urge you to continue investing in this invaluable resource for the benefit of all.
