TULELAKE CITY COUNCIL
April 22, 2022
5:30 PM
Mayor Henry Ebinger called the conference call meeting to order from City Hall at 5:30 PM. Mayor Pro Tem Penny Velador, Council Members Gary Fensler, Bryan Hendricks, and Teresa Williams were all in attendance.
City Treasurer, Sara Luscombe; Chief of Police, Tony Ross; Police Officer, Justin Anderson; Police Officer, John Langford; Director of Public Works, Jose Perez; City Hall Administrator, Jenny Coelho; and Custodian, Teena Salazar was also present. City Administrative Clerk, Heidi Cureton was on the conference call line. City Finance Director, Will Sargent and City Clerk, Raul Figueroa was absent.
COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC
Mayor Ebinger asked for comments from the public. There were several attendees and comments were made by community residents Steven Moore, Nick Scott, Stacy Dodd, Jordan Dodson, Roberta Sibert, Sarah Anderson, and Ron Haynes in support of Police Officer Justin Anderson.
CLOSED SESSION: EVALUATION OF PERFORMANCE RE PUBLIC EMPLOYEE § 54957(b)(1) Council Members went into closed session at 5:45 PM.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLOSED SESSION
Council Members came back into open session at 7:25 PM. A motion was made and seconded in closed session that the Council needs to receive more information that was not available to them tonight therefore no action will be taken at this time until Council can acquire and review the pending information. Mayor Ebinger asked for a roll call vote. All votes were Ayes. Motion carried. (Motion 22-64) CLOSED SESSION: CONSIDER APPOINTMENT, EVALUATION OF PUBLIC EMPLOYEE. § 54957(b)(1) Mayor Ebinger announced that this closed session is being tabled until the Council can obtain the further information that is needed for their review. No action taken.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Ebinger made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:27 PM. The motion was seconded by Council Member Fensler. All votes were Ayes. Motion carried. (Motion 22-65) Henry A Ebinger, Mayor
