ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Jkiah City Council met at a Special Meeting on November 28, 2022, having been legally noticed on November 23, The meeting was held virtually at the following link:
https://zoom.us/i/97199426600. Mayor Brown called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m. Roll was taken with the following Councilmembers Present: Juan V. Orozco, Douglas, F. Crane, Mari Rodin, Josefina Dueňas, and Jim O. Brown. Staff Present: Sage Sangiacomo, City Manager; David Rapport, City Attorney; and Kristine Lawler, City Clerk.
MAYOR BROWN PRESIDING.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Craig Schlatter, Community Development Director.
2. AUDIENCE COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS
No public comment was received.
3. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
a. Approval of a $1.62 Million Loan through the Ukiah Housing Trust Fund to DANCO Communities for Development of the 71-Unit Mixed-Use Project at 210 East Gobbi Street; and Authorization for the City Manager to Execute Loan Documents and any Related Agreements Thereto; Approve Corresponding Budget Amendment.
Presenters: Shannon Riley, Deputy City Manager; Craig Schlatter, Community Development Director.
Motion/Second: Rodin/Orozco to approve a loan for $1.62 million to DANCO Communities through the Ukiah Housing Trust Fund for the development of the 71-unit mixed-use project at 210 East Gobbi Street, and authorize the City Manager to execute loan documents and any related agreements (COU No. 2223-144) thereto; approval of associated budget amendment, if necessary.
Motion carried by the following roll call votes: AYES: Orozco, Crane, Rodin, Dueňas, and Brown.
NOES: None. ABSENT: None. ABSTAIN: None.
