ROLL CALL AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Ukiah City Council met at a Special Meeting on April 19, 2023, having been legally noticed on July 14, 2023. The meeting was held virtually at the following link: https://zoom.us/j/97199426600. Mayor Rodin called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
RECESS: 3:01 - 3:43 P.M. (due to presenter transportation issues) Roll was taken with the following Councilmembers Present: Juan V. Orozco, Susan Sher, Douglas, F. Crane, and Mari Rodin. Councilmember Absent by Prearrangement: Josefina Dueňas.
Present: Sage Sangiacomo, City Manager and Kristine Lawler, City Clerk.
MAYOR RODIN PRESIDING.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Dan Burden, Blue Zones.
2. AUDIENCE COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS
No public comment was received
3. PUBLIC WORKS WORKSHOP
a. Presentation of Concepts for Future Improvements of the Perkins and Gobbi Street Corridors and Possible Direction to Staff.
Presenters: Tim Eriksen, Public Works Director/City Engineer and Dan Burden, Blue Zones.
Public Comment: Pinky Kushner, Julie Bawcom, Helen Sizemore, John Lazaro, Kerri Vau, Julie Bawcom, Ted Mayfield, Jennifer Lockwood, Maria Fuentes, Rick Johnson, Julie Price, Lucy Bartholomew, and Alan Nicholson.
Presentation received.
Motion/Second: Crane/Sher to direct Staff to move toward implementing of the concepts presented, and to begin as soon as possible with the public engagement process and Caltrans.
Motion carried by the following roll call votes: AYES: Orozco, Sher, Crane, and Rodin. NOES: None.
ABSENT: Duenas. ABSTAIN: None.

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:05 p.m.
