RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
UNION CITY SETTING THE 2026 CALENDAR YEAR CITY
COUNCIL MEETING SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, Chapters 2.04.010 and 2.04.040 of the Union City Municipal Code authorize the City Council to establish the dates and times of regular and special meetings; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Union City has traditionally conducted its regular meetings at 7:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, providing a consistent schedule for governance and public participation; and WHEREAS, the City Council of Union City has traditionally conducted its regular meetings at 7:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, providing a consistent schedule for governance and public participation; and WHEREAS, to accommodate family vacations and the holiday furlough, the City Council has historically canceled one meeting in August and the second meeting in December; and
WHEREAS, at a December 9, 2025, Regular Meeting of the City Council, the Council reviewed and considered the proposed 2026 calendar year meeting schedule.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Union City hereby sets the 2026 calendar year City Council meeting schedule as follows:
