Dear Javier,
This letter is a follow-up to your email received by the City on Friday, October 17, and discussed during our meeting on October 20, 2025. Per our discussions, and through mutual agreement pursuant to Section 18.4. AMENDMENT OR MODIFICATION of Exhibit A, Scope of Services, of the Agreement Between the City of Union City, CA (CITY) and Gillig, LLC (CONTRACTOR), effective December 13, 2022 (the “Agreement”), we are cancelling six of the fourteen battery electric buses without penalty (PO#105310).
The Agreement will now be for Eight Million Five Hundred One Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty-Two Dollars and zero cents ($8,501,821.00, rounded) for eight battery electric buses, or $1,062,728 (rounded) per bus. We will process an amendment to the agreement for your review.
