Re: Proposed New AT&T rooftop Wireless Telcom Facility

Located at: 32975 Alvarado-Niles Rd, Union City, CA 94587. APN: 475-148-2 This is an Unmanned AT&T wireless telecom facility:
• Operations of the project will occur 12 months a year, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day consistent with the continuous schedule of normal telephone company operations. • The facility is "unmanned" and will be visited on an "as needed" basis only. No more than two technicians will attend the facility. Their schedule will be on a 24-hour basis in the event of an emergency or power outage. No more than two service vehicles, being either a van or a small pickup truck will visit the facility.
• The equipment located on the roof and within AT&T’s lease area will be used for telephone operations. • There will be no supplies or materials stored on the site. • There will be no noise (No A/C units), glare, dust or odors associated with the facility. • There will be no drop-off/pickups.
• The telecom equipment will be concealed on the rooftop and the ground equipment will be secured behind a new proposed 9ft tall CMU block wall textured and painted to match the exterior of the building and completely hidden from public view.
• Site maintenance will be done by a mobile technician 1-2 times per month.
