CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION

TITLE: ANNUAL SIDEWALK, C&G, AND RAMP REPAIR PROJECT, CITY PROJECT NO. 25-03
I, MARILOU AYUPAN, Public Works Director of the City of Union City, County of Alameda, State of California, do hereby certify as follows:
a. That the project consisted of repairing uplifted or damaged sidewalks and curbs & gutters, upgrading ramps, and removal of trees uplifting sidewalks throughout the City. The locations were determined by onsite inspections that showed sidewalks have been lifted due to tree roots or in response to resident inquiries about sidewalk conditions and other related work indicated and required by the plans and standard specifications; and
b. That the contract agreement was awarded by staff on August 12, 2025, in the amount of $539,954; and
c. That the adopted and approved plans and specifications have been changed in the following respects:

d. That the work performed has been done in accordance with such plans and specifications.
e. That Rosas Brothers Construction., performed the work at a total cost of $611,523, including the above noted contract change description.
f. That the Final retention amount of $30,576.12 will be released after 35 days from the project’s acceptance.
