seniors at the Ruggieri Senior Center.

Why do you want to be a Board/Commission/
Committee member? What do you feel you could
contribute?
I have served as a Senior Commissioner and
would like to continue to offer my services. The
aging population is growing faster than ever
before. I believe a rich and supportive
environment for the seniors will greatly benefit
the intergenerational relationship within our
community as a whole.
What qualifies you for this appointment? I am an active member of the Ruggieri Senior Center. I interact with many seniors and get to
know many of their concerns as well as the
appreciation they have for the programs being
offered at the Center.
What is your vision for the committee/
commission you are applying to?
I would like the Senior Commission to continue to
be pro-active in searching for ways to enrich the
programs for the seniors with the support of the
City Council.
How does this vision support the Council’s
priorities as stated in the 5-Year Strategic Plan?
I hope the City's 5-Year Strategic Plan has the
seniors of the city in mind. With the City being
geographically well-defined as East and West, it
would be super wonderful to have another Senior
Center on the West side of town.
