Staff presents the following new and promoted employees for 2025 to the Mayor and City Council.
CITY MANAGER’S OFFICE
New Hires:
Christopher Chang was hired on September 8, 2025, as an Administrative Specialist – Confidential.
COMMUNITY & RECREATION SERVICES DEPARTMENT
New Hires:
Laura Buzo was hired on June 9, 2025, as Community & Recreation Services Director.
Clarissa Rosas-Villagomez was hired on September 30, 2025, as Office Specialist II.
Marcia Tai was hired on October 28, 2025, as Office Specialist II.
Promotions:
Melissa Camacho was promoted from Preschool Site Supervisor I to Preschool Site Supervisor II on April 14, 2025.
ECONOMIC & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
New Hires:
Harry Calilong was hired on March 31, 2025 as Building/Code Compliance Inspector.

New Hires:
Kevin Wang was hired on October 6, 2025 as Accountant.
Promotions:
Chu Thai was promoted from Accounting Manager to Finance Director on December 30, 2025.
HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT
New Hires:
Mable Choi was hired on November 10, 2025 as Human Resources Analyst I.
Promotions:
Jaime Rabe was promoted from Human Resources Analyst I to Human Resources Manager on September 1, 2025.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
New Hires:
Jacob Kaufman was hired on January 20, 2025, as a Police Officer Trainee. Ryan Caviani was hired on January 20, 2025, as a Police Officer Trainee. Jojo Ortiz was hired on April 14, 2025, as a Police Officer Trainee. Jonathan Pedroza was hired on April 28, 2025, as a Police Officer Trainee. Araceli Rodriguez was hired on May 26, 2025, as a Police Officer Assistant. Marco Garcia was hired on June 9, 2025, as a Police Officer Trainee. • Georgia Stoner was hired on June 10, 2025, as a Police Officer Assistant. Nate Miskella was hired on July 28, 2025, as a Police Officer Trainee. Rafael Jose Rodriguez Garcia was hired on September 1, 2025, as a Police Officer Trainee.
Alondra Venegas Martinez was hired on September 1, 2025, as a Police Cadet. Alondra Garcia was hired on September 15, 2025, as a Police Cadet. Ekjot Modhara was hired on September 15, 2025, as a Police Cadet. Jade Lopez-Hermosillo was hired on September 19, 2025, as a Police Cadet.
Promotions:
Brooke Thayer was promoted from Police Officer Recruit II to Police Officer on January 25, 2025.
Keilani Titsworth was promoted from Police Cadet to Property & Evidence Specialist on March 17, 2025.
Noah Stewart was promoted from Police Officer Trainee to Police Officer Recruit II on April 14, 2025.
