Mayor Singh called the Meeting to Order at 5:31 PM.

Mayor Singh opened Oral Communications. Seeing no speakers, Mayor Singh closed Oral Communications.
4. STUDY SESSION
4.1. Informational Report on Union City's Homelessness Response Efforts – February 2026
Deputy City Manager Phan and Community and Recreation Services Director Buzo provided staff presentation. They, along with Homeless Program Coordinator Garcia, responded to questions from the Council.
The Council received the report.

6. PROCLAMATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS (6:00 PM)
6.1. Proclamation in Recognition of Saka Nakodar Day, February 4, 1986 - February 4, 2026, 40th Anniversary of Remembrance
Mayor Singh read the proclamation aloud and presented it to Dr. Harinder Singh and Kashmir Shahi, who offered brief comments.
6.2. Proclamation Recognizing February 2026 as Black History Month Mayor Singh read the proclamation aloud and presented it to Chioma Chuks-Orji and Kendahyl Wallace, who offered brief comments.
6.3. Proclamation Recognizing February 17, 2026, as the Lunar New Year Mayor Singh read the proclamation aloud and presented it to Councilmember Wang, who offered brief comments.
7. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Singh adjourned the meeting at 6:50 PM.
