Union City staff conducted extensive outreach activities to inform and engage community members in sharing their vision and ideas for the BART Mural Project. Community outreach and engagement activities were conducted July 2025 – March 2026, over 58,000 contacts. Resident input and feedback was solicited through a citywide survey, three community forums and meetings, and Arts and Culture Commission and City Council meetings. The list illustrates the City’s effort to reach residents across diverse neighborhoods and community spaces, ensuring broad and inclusive participation throughout the planning process of the BART Mural Project.
