2 Proposed FY 2026-2027 Master Fee Schedule
• Fees are added/deleted/revised as needed
• Fees are updated to maintain cost recovery for city services:
• Most adjusted by Consumer Price Index (CPI): February 2025 to February 2026 San Francisco Bay Area-All Urban
Consumers Index change of 2.5%
• Some may be adjusted to comply with Union City
Municipal Code and/or State codes
• Some fees require greater adjustments to reflect greater actual costs or new tasks involved
Annual Update of Master Fee Schedule (MFS)
3 a) Duplicate Document Copy Fee – Simplified to per-page fee b) Agenda & Minute Mailing Subscriptions – Remove
c) Paystub Copy – $5
d) Duplicate 1099 Fee – $5
e) Park Picnic Area Reservations – Updated based on market demand
f) Facility Rental – Updated based on market demand

4 • A public hearing has been noticed and conducted
in accordance with: Government Code Sections 6062a,
66016, 66017 and 66018
• Pursuant to Government Code Section 66017(a): Any
increase to development-related fees, or new
development fees, shall become effective no sooner
than 60 days after adoption.
• All fees becoming effective July 1, 2026
