Mayor Singh called the meeting to order at 6:02 PM.

Mayor Singh opened Oral Communications. There being no speakers, Mayor Singh closed Oral Communications.
4. PROCLAMATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS
4.1. Presentation of Proclamation and Certificates Honoring Jaime Jaramillo on the Occasion of His Retirement and in Grateful Recognition of a Lifetime of Service
Mayor Singh read the proclamation aloud and presented it to Jaime Jaramillo.
Centro de Servicios Board President Nancy George and Executive Director Susana Peinado provided brief comments.

Representatives from the offices of Assemblymember Liz Ortega, Alameda County Supervisor Elisa Márquez, and State Senator Aisha Wahab presented certificates and commendations.
Rosalinda Miramontes and Jaime Jaramillo provided brief comments. Mayor Singh recessed the meeting after this item and reconvened it at 6:47 PM.
4.2. Proclamation Recognizing May 2026 as Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month
Mayor Singh read the proclamation aloud and presented it to various AANHPI Union City staff members. Management Analyst II Segarra provided brief comments afterward.
4.3. Proclamation Recognizing May 2026 as Mental Health Awareness Month Mayor Singh read the proclamation aloud. Community Services Manager Piedad presented the proclamation to Dr. Preet Kaur Sabharwal of the Hume Center South Asian Community Health Promotion Services Program, who accepted it and offered brief comments.
4.4. Proclamation Honoring the Union City Youth Commissioners for Their Outstanding Community Service and Dedication
Mayor Singh read the proclamation aloud and presented it to members of the Union City Youth Commission. CRS Recreation Supervisor Heuer and Youth Commission Chair Leah Kim provided brief comments.
5. ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Singh adjourned the meeting at 7:11 PM.
