RESOLUTION NO. 2026-XXX
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNION CITY
DESIGNATING THE VOTING DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE VOTING
DELEGATE FOR THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL
CONFERENCE, SEPTEMBER 23-25, 2026
WHEREAS, the League of California Cities will hold its Annual Conference and Expo from September 23-25, 2026, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California; and WHEREAS, the Annual Conference includes a General Assembly where League of California Cities member cities vote on resolutions and other matters that establish League policy; and
WHEREAS, the City of Union City is a member of the League of California Cities and is entitled to participate in the consideration of such resolutions and policy matters; and
WHEREAS, the League of California Cities requires that each member city designate a voting delegate and may designate up to two alternate voting delegates for the Annual Conference; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to formally designate the City’s voting delegate and alternate voting delegate for the 2026 Annual Conference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Union City hereby designates Councilmember Jeff Wang as its Voting Delegate and Vice Mayor Jaime Patiño as its Alternate Voting Delegate for the League of California Cities Annual Conference and Expo to be held in Anaheim, California, from September 23-25, 2026 Resolution No. 2026-XXX
