CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
(Sec. 4005 Government Code)
TITLE: KENNEDY PARK IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE I, CITY PROJECT NO. 24- 15 I, MARILOU AYUPAN, Public Works Director of the City of Union City, County of Alameda, State of California, do hereby certify as follows:
a. That the project consisted of rehabilitating parking lot pavement surface, base, and subbase in addition to the site drainage & its associated facilities, including installation of a new bioswale area. ADA improvements will be installed along with irrigation for new vegetation and trees. The parking lot perimeter will be brought up to standard and entire project is subject to the most current Caltrans Standard Specifications, and these special provisions; and
b. That the contract agreement was awarded by staff on March 10, 2026, in the amount of $271,923; and
c. That the adopted and approved plans and specifications have been changed in the following respects:

e. That RNR Paving, Inc., performed the work at a total cost of $297,553.78, including the above noted contract change description.
f. That the Final retention amount of $14,870.19 will be released after 35 days from the project’s acceptance.
