NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that members of the Union City City Council and City advisory bodies may attend the 2026 Candidate Information Night. Attendance by members of each City legislative body will be limited to less than a quorum.
Candidate Information Night is not being conducted as a meeting of any City legislative body. No City legislative body will discuss, deliberate, or take action on any matter at this event.
City staff and department representatives will provide qualified candidates with general information regarding City government, departmental responsibilities and services, political sign requirements, and appropriate use of the City’s name and logo.
Candidate Information Night is not being agendized or conducted as a meeting of the City Council.
Councilmembers who attend will not discuss City business among themselves, deliberate as a legislative body, or take action on any matter within the City Council’s jurisdiction.
