qCommunity Program which Educates Volunteers about Disaster Preparedness qStrives to familiarize citizens on how to prepare before, during and after a major disaster

Union City CERT:
qHolds monthly community trainings focused on preparedness qConduct quarterly trainings for Union City CERT members. qParticipates in community events, sharing preparedness information.
qAnyone 14 or older can participate in CERT

What is PPRR:
qThis program provides basic life saving skills and workshop to plan for disasters qIncludes fire extinguisher, hands-only CPR/Abdominal Thrust Maneuver and Personal Emergency Preparedness (PEP) trainings
qThese one-hour+ trainings are offered at no cost and lead by Alameda County Fire Department (ALCO Fire)
qThese trainings are offered to our business, community partners along with HOA’s and apartment complexes.
