1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 625 p.m.

Present: Mayor McConnell, Vice Mayor Verder-Aliga, Councilmembers Arriola, Brown, Dew, Loera-Diaz, and Miessner
Absent: None
Staff present: City Manager Malone, City Attorney Nebb and City Clerk Abrahamson
City Attorney Nebb reported there was no action to report on Closed Session Items A and B.
4. ACTION CALENDAR
A. CITY COUNCIL 2022 AND MULTIYEAR COMMUNITY GOALS AND
PRIORITIES
Recommendation: Adopt a resolution establishing the Vallejo City Council’s 2022 and Multiyear Community Goals and Priorities.

City Manager Malone provided introductory comments.
Christine Butterfield and John Bramble (Management Partners) reviewed the Council workshop objectives, the agenda for the workshop and interests expressed by Council, provided an overview of behaviors and characteristics of high-performance teams, good governance and Council commitments to improve governance, outlined additional Council agreements and next steps, and concluded the presentation by reviewing Council’s 2022 and multiyear goals.
Speakers: Daniel Boone, Margaret Sharkey, Gaul Culley, and Shanyaih Nims, Melissa Swift, Anne Carr and BB.
Staff and the Consultants responded to questions from Councilmembers.
Councilmembers provided comment.
Action: Moved by Vice Mayor Verder-Aliga and carried unanimously to adopt Resolution No. 22-137 N.C.

City Manager Malone provided introductory comments.
Finance Director Nayar reviewed the agenda for tonight’s presentation, the purpose of ARPA and four eligible use categories and the City’s project funding allocation by Tranche.
Interim Assistant to the City Manager Peterson provided a status update on the ARPA funded projects for the City Manager’s Office. Assistant City Manager Hayes provided a status update on the ARPA funded projects for the Economic Development Division.
Finance Director Nayar provided a status update on the ARPA funded projects for the Finance and Human Resources Departments.
Fire Administrative Manager Schreiner Lee provided a status update on the ARPA funded projects for the Fire Department.
Chief Innovation Officer/IT Director Ashraf provided a status update on the ARPA funded projects for the IT Department.
Planning & Development Services Director Ratcliffe provided a status update on the APRA funded projects for the Department.
Police Chief Williams provided a status update on the ARPA funded projects for the Police Department.
Public Works Director Tigbao provided a status update on the ARPA funded projects for the Public Works Department.
Finance Director Nayar provided closing comments.
