1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:06 p.m.

4. REPORT OUT OF CLOSED SESSION
City Attorney Nebb reported Council provided direction to staff with respect to Closed Session Item 3A.
5. ACTION CALENDAR
A. POLICE OVERSIGHT MODEL WORKSHOP
Recommendation: Receive presentation of information from the community engagement meetings and the various oversight model characteristics. Based upon input received, provide direction to staff to prepare a draft ordinance to be presented at a subsequent meeting for additional comment and direction.

City Manager Malone provided introductory comments.
City Attorney Nebb outlined the process for this evening’s meeting and next steps and provided an overview of the community engagement meetings. Chief Assistant City Attorney Risner shared various oversight models. City Attorney Nebb discussed model characteristics.
Renee Sykes, Mike Nisperos, Brien Farrell, Allison Mezzera, Ian Emperador, Chase Christensen, and Greg Carter (Common Ground Representatives) addressed Council regarding their proposed ordinance.
