How is Raven
different than legacy
shot detection?
Investigations don’t stop at shell casings
• Falcon + Raven gets from a shot
fired to a suspect vehicle
• Humans cannot edit the results
• Provides audio directly to officers
for final confirmation of accuracy
Flock Safety Raven™
Audio Detection Device
● Triangulates using distributed devices
● Focus on Gunshots
● Reduces overall system cost by +66%
● Pairs with Flock Falcons to go from
shots fired to suspect vehicle

What is this tech? What ISN’Tthis
tech?
● Detects and alerts Police to
specific audio events (not voice
activated)
● Enables law enforcement to
respond quickly to potentially
serious situation
● Stores very short clips, just of
the event
● Pairs with license plate evidence
● NOT detecting people or voices
● NOT tied to Personal Identifiable
Information.
● NOT storing long audio clips
Layer technology for greater effect
LPR - Falcon
Audio - Raven
Video - Wing
Real-Time Intelligence with Flock
Layer technology for greater impact
Same privacy focus with every product
Ethics-Driven Innovation
● Detects specific audio events, nothing else
○ Gunshots
○ Glass Breaking (future)
○ Street Racing / Sideshows (future)
○ Car Crashes / Burglary (future)
● Doesn’t detect people or voices
● Saves short 5 second audio clips of the Event
● Collects data only when a triggering event is
detected
● Data stored 30 days, then deleted
● Data is owned by the City/Agency, and will not
be accessed by Flock

Flock ALPR Immediate ROI
Village of Rantoul
● After months of increased gun violence,
cases, the Village of Rantoul installed a
dozen ALPR cameras in June 2021.
● Within the first two weeks of deployment,
Rantoul PD arrested two suspects wanted
for a July 4th shooting that injured 5,
including two children.
● In August, a suspect in a second shooting
was identified with the Flock camera in
just 14 minutes.
● “I would recommend that any agency who
has similar issues to take a look and at
least pursue them because they are a
valuable tool,” said Rantoul Deputy Chief
Rodney Sullivan.
