1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:25 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor McConnell and Councilmembers Bregenzer, Matulac, and Palmares
Absent: Vice Mayor Verder-Aliga and Councilmembers Arriola and Loera-Diaz Staff present: City Clerk Abrahamson
3. ACTION CALENDAR
A. CONDUCT APPLICANT INTERVIEWS FOR THE CIVIL SERVICE
COMMISSIONS AND THE PARTICIPATORY BUDGETING STEERING
COMMITTEE
Recommendation: The purpose of this special meeting is to conduct applicant interviews only for appointments to fill 1 vacancy on the Civil Service Commission and 2 member and 3 alternate vacancies on the Participatory Budgeting Steering Committee. Council conducted interviews for the following applicants:
Civil Service Commission: David Sostarich
Participatory Budgeting Steering Committee: Paola Cubias-Shiraz, Patricia Baisden (Primary) and Donald Jordan (Secondary) African American Alliance; Jessica Lozano, and David Sostarich.
