1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:04 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Vice Mayor Verder-Aliga, Councilmembers Arriola (left the meeting at 8:07 p.m.), Bregenzer Loera-Diaz, Matulac, and Palmares
Absent: Mayor McConnell
Staff present: City Clerk Abrahamson
3. REPORT OUT OF CLOSED SESSION
Chief Assistant City Attorney Risner provided a report prior to adjournment of the closed session. Minutes of the 4:30 p.m. special meeting reflect the report.
4. ACTION CALENDAR
A. CONDUCT APPLICANT INTERVIEWS FOR THE GREATER VALLEJO
RECREATION DISTRICT (GVRD) BOARD OF DIRECTORS, THE CITY OF
VALLEJO CULTURE & ARTS AND ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE &
LANDMARKS COMMISSIONS, AND THE CODE ENFORCEMENT APPEALS
AND DESIGN REVIEW BOARDS
Recommendation: The purpose of this special meeting is to conduct applicant interviews only for appointments to GVRD Board of Directors and City advisory bodies. It is anticipated that appointments will be made at the City Council's regular meeting on November 28, 2023

GVRD: Tom Starnes, Lynette Parker, Mark Lampkin, Thomas Judt, Dwight Monroe Jr., and David Marsteller.

Design Review Board: Daniel Gordon, Jamiah Adams and Neil Sterud Architectural Heritage & Landmarks Commission: Jared Chacon and Joshua Sosa
Code Enforcement Appeals Board: Nikia Schultz
