SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 4:28 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor McConnell, Vice Mayor Verder-Aliga, Councilmembers Arriola, Bregenzer, Loera-Diaz, Matulac, and Palmares
Absent: None
Staff present: City Manager Malone, City Attorney Nebb, City Clerk Abrahamson, Assistant City Manager Davis, Chief Assistant City Attorney Risner, Human Resources Director Sifuentes, Katelyn Knight, Assistant City Attorney, Stacey Sheston (outside counsel) and Aaron Slater (Beauchaine Consulting Group, LLC).
The City Council convened into Closed Session in the Conference Room inside the Vallejo Room at 4:30 p.m.
3. CLOSED SESSION
A. Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation Pursuant to California Government Code section 54956.9(d)(1): Matzke et al. v. City of Vallejo, et al., Solano County Superior Court, Case No. FCS056066
B. Conference with Labor Negotiators Pursuant to California Government Code Section 54957.6
Negotiators: Mike Malone, City Manager; Terrance Davis, Assistant City Manager; Stephanie Sifuentes, Human Resources Director; and Aaron Slater (Beauchaine Consulting Group, LLC). Employee Organization: Vallejo Police Officers Association (VPOA)
The Council reconvened into open session at 5:45 p.m. and Chief Assistant City Attorney Risner reported Council provided direction to staff on items A and B.
4. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 5:47 p.m.
