1. CALL TO ORDER & WELCOME BY THE MAYOR
The meeting was called to order at 9:09 a.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor McConnell, Vice Mayor Loera-Diaz, Councilmembers Arriola, Bregenzer, Matulac, Palmares, and Verder-Aliga
Absent: None
Staff present: City Manager Malone, City Attorney Nebb and City Clerk Abrahamson
3. PUBLIC COMMENT REGARDING COUNCIL/SENIOR STAFF TEAM BUILDING WORKSHOP – None.
4. AGENDA REVIEW
City Manager Malone provided introductory comments.
Facilitator Jan Perkins reviewed the workshop agenda, objectives, and ground rules.
5. TEAM BUILDING WORKSHOP
Facilitator Perkins lead the Council and Department Heads through a visioning exercise and teamwork practical exercises.
The meeting recessed at Noon and reconvened at 12:50 p.m.
Prior to concluding the workshop, the Council and Department Heads identified and discussed challenges and fundamental service delivery issues.
6. WRAP UP
Facilitator Perkins led the Council and Department Heads through a discussion reflecting on what it takes to get to success not only with retaining the existing goals and priorities from last year but also with basic services delivered by the City.
7. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at approximately 2:30 p.m.
