1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Mayor Sorce, Vice Mayor Bregenzer, Councilmembers Gordon, Lediju (arrived at 7:00 p.m., Matulac, Matias (arrived at 5:02 p.m.), and Palmares (arrived at 5:02 p.m.)
Absent: None
Staff present: City Manager Murray, City Attorney Nebb, City Clerk Abrahamson, Assistant City Manager Haen, Chief Assistant City Attorney Risner, Assistant City Attorney Jacob and Jackson, Deputy City Attorney Gangapuram, Human Resources Director Sifuentes, Planning & Development Services Director Pollot, and Planning Manager Orozco.
The Council convened into Closed Session in the Council Conference Room at 5:02 p.m.
3. CLOSED SESSION
A. Conference with Legal Counsel – Anticipated Litigation: Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(2) – one case.
B. Conference with Legal Counsel – Anticipated Litigation: Initiation of litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(4)- three cases
C. Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation: City of Vallejo v. Superior Court, First District Court of Appeal, Case No. A171451, pursuant to California Government Code section 54956.9(d)(1)
D. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS
Pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6:
Agency Designated Representatives: Andrew Murray, City Manager and Stephanie Sifuentes, Human Resources Director
Employee Organizations: Vallejo Police Officer’s Association (VPOA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1245 (IBEW)
