1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:08 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
City Council: Mayor Sorce, Vice Mayor Bregenzer, Councilmembers Gordon, Lediju (arrived at 5:12 p.m.), Matias, Matulac, and Palmares
Planning Commission: Chair Blind, Vice Chair Taylor, Commissioners Douglass, Madeiros, and Beasley-Stansberry (arrived at 6:01 p.m.)
Absent: Planning Commissioners Balbuena and Standafer

4. JOINT WORKSHOP
A. RECEIVE A PRESENTATION AND PROVIDE DIRECTION REGARDING THE
PRELIMINARY FINDINGS OF THE INCLUSIONARY ZONING FEASIBILITY
STUDY AND COMMERCIAL LINKAGE FEE NEXUS STUDY
Recommendation: Receive a presentation and provide direction regarding the preliminary findings of the Inclusionary Zoning Feasibility Study and Commercial Linkage Fee Nexus Study.

Long Range Planner Manager Rojas provided introductory comments and context for tonight’s special joint meeting.
Darin Smith (Economic & Planning Systems, Inc.) presented preliminary results and discussed potential policy options for consideration and discuss.
Staff and Mr. Smith responded to questions from Councilmembers and Commissioners.
Speakers: Liat Metzeinheimer, Jimmy Genn, Paul Theiss (Sierra Club), Cristal Gallegos, Katleen Diohep, and Melvin Cowan.
