COUNCIL CHAMBERS

1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:40 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Councilmembers Gordon, Lediju, Matias, Matulac, and Palmares
Absent: Mayor Sorce and Vice Mayor Bregenzer
Staff present: City Manager Murray and City Clerk Abrahamson
Speakers: Daniel Boone, Sherianne Grimm, Bridget D., Diana Lang, Jen R., Gary Weinstein, Jimmy Genn, Daniel Kilburne, David Haldane, and Barbara Gea
Action: moved by Councilmember Palmares and failed to continue the closed session item to a later date (Ayes: Palmares; Noes: Gordon, Lediju, Matias, and Matulac;
Absent: Sorce and Bregenzer)
The City Council convened into Closed Session in the Council Conference Room at 5:45 p.m.
3. CLOSED SESSION
A. Conference with Legal Counsel - Anticipated Litigation pursuant to paragraph (2) or (3) of subdivision (d) of Government Code section 54956.9. Significant exposure to litigation, one case.
The City Council reconvened into open session at 6:19 p.m.
City Manager Murray reported Council provided direction to the City Manager to engage a law firm that the City has under contract with Renne Public Law Group, to review the recent allegations, to recommend whether formal investigation should be conducted of the allegations and for that firm to collaborate with city staff to create a public response to those allegations.
4. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 6:21 p.m.
