1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:18 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Vice Mayor Matulac, Councilmembers Bregenzer, Gordon, Lediju (participated virtually), and Matias
Absent: Mayor Sorce and Councilmember Palmares
Staff present: Interim City Manager Black, City Clerk Abrahamson and Human Resources Director Sifuentes
The Council convened into Closed Session in the Human Resources Conference Room at 6:18 p.m.
3. CLOSED SESSION
A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL-ANTICIPATED LITIGATION:
Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(2): 2 Cases
B. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL-THREAT OF
LITIGATION: Significant exposure to litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(2): 1 Case – Mayor’s Demand for Defense Counsel/Indemnification/Litigation Hold
The Council convened into open session in the Council Chambers at 8:42 p.m.
City Manager Black reported that Council received information and provided direction to its outside legal counsel and City Manager on both items.
4. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 8:42 p.m.
