Revised Proclamation Recognizing Retired Employee – Jerry R. Chavez, Jr.
Recommendation
Approve revised proclamation.
Background
Historically, the City Council has issued proclamations in honor of retired City Employees. Jerry R. Chavez, Jr. retired from the City of Vernon Police Department on November 1, 2021, and the City Council approved a retirement proclamation on November 16, 2021. It is requested that City Council approve the revised retirement proclamation. Once approved by City Council, the revised proclamation will be issued to Mr. Chavez.
