Dear Members of the Vernon City Council,
Please see an attached resume for my experience and education.
I am writing to express my interest in serving on the Green Vernon Commission. As an EHS Coordinator with over 3 years of experience in environmental compliance, I am confident that my skills and expertise would be valuable to the commission's mission to promote sustainability in our community.
In my current role, I have gained extensive knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations, as well as experience in developing and implementing green initiatives in the workplace.
I have a proven track record of identifying and addressing environmental risks, reducing waste, and promoting energy efficiency. I believe that these skills would be directly applicable to the goals of the Green Vernon Commission.
I am passionate about environmental sustainability and am committed to making a positive impact in my community. Through my work as an EHS Coordinator, I have seen firsthand the benefits of taking a proactive approach to sustainability, both in terms of protecting the environment and improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities.
Barksdale Control Products as an organization is also a very passionate company on environmental sustainability. In my short time here I have learned and adopted many of their practices and look to being a driver for our goals in sustainability. Being part of an organization that takes initiative and continues to seek improvements in environmental performance as an EHS coordinator only makes my job easier. Barksdale does not only want to be part of the solution but be an example for many in the industrial and manufacturing setting.
I would welcome the opportunity to bring my skills and experience to the Green Vernon Commission and work with you to promote sustainability in our community. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Alfred Mejia | Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator | Barksdale, Inc | Crane Co. – Process Flow Technologies | 3211 Fruitland Ave Los Angeles CA 90058 | (W) 323 589 6181 ext. 13082 | (M) 323 336 2906 | [email protected]
