Background
As the second largest public-school administration in the nation, the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) covers a broad geographic area that includes Vernon. LAUSD District 5 Board Member Karla Griego will attend the September 2, 2025 Council Meeting to share information on resources available to students and families through the District. The Board Member will provide details about immigration support, LAUSD virtual programs and online schooling options, as well as District transportation.
