Proclaim the week of May 3 to May 9, 2026, as Professional Municipal Clerks Week in the City of Vernon to recognize the professional contributions and vital services performed by Municipal Clerks.
Background
The International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) is a professional non-profit association with members in the United States, Canada, and 15 countries. Its mission is to promote ongoing education and professional development for Municipal Clerks worldwide. IIMC has designated the week of May 3rd as the 57th Annual Professional Municipal Clerks Week to honor the valuable contributions made by Municipal Clerks.
