Possible letter to League of California Cities regarding the Leadership and Action award bestowed on Council Member Gomez during the September 2023 League of Cities Conference.

Background:
At the City Council meeting of November 7, 2023, it was moved by Mayor Jones and approved by a majority vote to agendize an item for discussion and possible action to determine whether to direct the City Attorney to transmit a letter to the League of California Cities to address concerns over the Leadership and Action award bestowed on Council Member Gomez during the September 2023 League of Cities Conference held in Sacramento.
Discussion:
This item is being presented to Council so that Council can further discuss and determine whether to direct the City Attorney regarding said letter.
