The item is related to Strategic Plan Goal B, Public Safety, as the activity reports provide statistical information on Code Compliance Department efforts relating to community enhancement and homeless outreach efforts along with the care and control of animals.
Background:
Staff has compiled the attached Code Compliance Department Activity Report consisting of the Code Compliance Division and Animal Care and Control Division statistics for the second quarter of fiscal year 2023/2024.
Discussion:
The attached Code Compliance Department Report includes information for the second quarter of fiscal year 2023/2024 (October 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023) relating to compliance efforts for land use, public nuisances, parking, homeless outreach and clean- up efforts, animal care and control programs, field activity, resident service calls and animal licensing.
