Good afternoon,
My name is Bonnie Ortega a resident of the city of Victorville of 2yrs. In the time that I have moved here I find that our neighborhood is a very quiet and peaceful place.
I am fond of the school where my youger children attend at Dr. Ralph H Baker 21st Century Learning Center, as it sits alone to where it's surrounding area has since been free of any hazardous potential threat to the children's health and concerns of the communities well being.
In addition, now that these plans have initiated a gas station there is not only a potential risk to their health such as problems and concerns of headaches, nausea, dizziness these are still concerns for the well being of my children and myself as an employee who works at RB21.
These are only a few health conditions that do sound alarming to me when we are speaking of health concerns for the children.
Furthermore, when has the city ever taken account for our children and families in the community? This gas station not only presents dangerous toxic air but it also will bring in theft, drugs, homelessness, and possible gun violence. All in which is to close to our primary school which holds over 700 students Tk- 6th.
These are things that parents and steak holders should always consider first when deciding on new potential business. More often than not the children and families in the communities are often overlooked. I urge each and everyone of you to rethink these plans as it will have a an impact on our children's health and our community in keeping it a safe environment for all who reside in the area and the school at RB21.
Thank you for your time.

Hello,
My name is Monique and I am a parent of two young children who attend RB21 - Ralph Baker 21st Century Learning on Mojave and El Evado Rd. Last week we received a notice stating that new construction is coming and is to be built within 1000 ft of our school.
This construction is a gas station that sells alcohol 24 hours a day. There are many reasons why I disagree and ask you to reconsider allowing this to proceed. However, the obvious are that a a gas station is know to attract loitering transients. Drugs and alcohol and possible violence. These types of things should not be allowed within 1000 ft of an elementary school.
Our young children should not be subjected to such behavior and risk. Our school does not have a brick fence behind it and should transients begin to floor our streets and fields around our school, there are many risk that this can cause.
Please hear our plea and reconsider this new construction. It is not okay to have this right next to our school.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Monique Mulipola
