RESOLUTION NO. 24-081
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VICTORVILLE, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF THE
CALRECYCLE USED OIL PAYMENT PROGRAM CYCLE 14 GRANT
AND AMENDING THE CITY OF VICTORVILLE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2023-24
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Resources Code § 486 00 et seq. the California State Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) has established the Used Oil Payment Program to make payments to qualifying jurisdictions for implementation of their used oil programs; and
WHEREAS, the Vict orville City Council previously adopted Resolution No. 20 - 003 on February 18, 2020 , which authorized the City to apply for CalRecycle payment program grants; and
WHEREAS, CalRecycle has notified the City that grant funds have been awarded to the City for Used Oil Payment Program Cycle 14.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VICTORVILLE DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Victorville is authoriz ed to accept Used Oil Payment Program Cycle 14 grant funds from CalRecycle.
Section 2. That the City of Victorville Fiscal Year 2023-24 budget shall be amended to reflect additional revenue in the amount of $ 18,867 (2707501C-43110-21382) and additional expenses in the amount of $ 5,000 for Supplies (2707501C -52110-21382), $8,867 for Advertising (2707501C -52170-21382) and $5,000 for Contract Services (2707501C-52300-21382).
Section 3. That copies of such amended budget, certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed with the auditors of the City of Victorville and in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection and certified copies thereof shall be made available for use by City departments, offices and subsidiary districts of the City.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
