5 RESOLUTION NO. VWD 24-008
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE VICTORVILLE WATER DISTRICT AMENDING THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 24-25.
WHEREAS, the General Manager of the Victorville Water District did heretofore submit to the Board of Directors an estimate of the expenditures and revenues of the District departments and offices, together with a proposed budget for the fiscal year 24-25; and WHEREAS, copies of said budget were prepared and distributed to the Board of Directors, approved by the Board of Directors prior to June 30, 2024 and have been available for the inspection by the public in the office of the Board Secretary of the Victorville Water District; and
WHEREAS, after preparation of the budget, a need to amend the budget is being recommended to the Board for approval; and
WHEREAS, the General Manager or his designee will provide all necessary justification for the budget amendment as an attachment to this resolution or in the associated Board of Directors agenda report.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE VICTORVILLE WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Victorville Water District is authorized to accept as a subrecipient of Mojave Water Agency (MWA) the Proposition 1, Round 1 Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) Implementation Grant funds from the California Department of Water Resources.
SECTION 2. That the annual budget for the fiscal year 24-25 for the Victorville Water District will be hereby amended to reflect a change in the amounts and associated accounts listed below and as described in the corresponding Agenda Item.

SECTION 3. That copies of such amended budget, certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed with the auditors of the Victorville Water District and in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection and certified copies thereof shall be made available for use by District departments and offices.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
