Possible cancellation of the December 3, 2024, regular City Council meeting Recommendation:
Any action is at the discretion of Your Honorable City Council.

Discussion:
At the City Council meeting of November 5, 2024, it was moved by Mayor Becerra with majority approval to agendize an item for discussion and possible action at the November 19th meeting to cancel the regular City Council meeting of December 3rd being that the agenda for the meeting would be required to go out during the Thanksgiving break. Additionally, it is not expected that the election results will be certified by the Registrar of Voters by then and this meeting would typically be held to certify the election results and seat new members.
Pursuant to Chapter 3, Section III B of the City Council Policy and Procedure Manual, any regular or special meeting of the Council may be cancelled in advance by a majority vote of the Council during a prior meeting of the Council. This item is being presented so that Council can further discuss the possibility of cancelling the December 3, 2024 regular City Council meeting. However, any action is at the discretion of Your Honorable City Council.
