1. The initial cost estimate of the Public Safety Services (Special Tax A), including administrative expenses, to be funded through the Special Tax levied and collected for CFD 2024-01 is estimated to be approximately $163,909 based upon current dollars (Fiscal Year 2024-25).
This initial annual cost estimate is also based on the estimated cost per acre of Non-Residential Property – as defined in the Rate and Method of Apportionment. As property is annexed to CFD No. 2024-01, it is expected that the annual cost of providing services will increase proportionately based on the number Units/Acres which will be included in the annexed property. The annual cost of providing such services will also increase by the greater of (i) an amount equal to the percentage change in the Consumer Price Index for the Calendar Year ending in December for the prior Fiscal Year or (ii) five percent (5%).
2. The initial cost estimate of the Maintenance Services (Special Tax B), including administrative expenses, to be funded through the Special Tax levied and collected for CFD 2024-01 is estimated to be approximately $51,627 based upon current dollars (Fiscal Year 2024-25).

As defined by the Act, incidental expenses include, but are not limited to, the annual costs associated with determination of the amount of special taxes, collection of special taxes, payment of special taxes, or costs otherwise incurred in order to carry out the authorized purposes of the District. The incidental expenses associated with the annual administration of CFD 2024-01 are estimated to be $30,000. However, it is anticipated that the incidental expenses will vary due to inflation and other factors that may not be foreseen today, and the actual incidental expenses may exceed these amounts accordingly.
